stone age sequences

von Haulshoven - Hovenstein (the castle in space)
(2008, SynGate CD-R 2139)

von Haulshoven is Eppie E Hulshof. He already makes music with synthesizers and guitar since 1973. This was the golden age of music! He has played a diversity of styles, from old fashion hardrock to blues (on guitar). During this period he was also always busy with his second big 'music love', the electronic music. The last ten years he is only busy creating so-called 'stone age sequences': electronic music with its roots in the seventies. In his smokescreen studio full of smoking E-machines one after another composition is made wrapped in a fine cloud of andromeda nebula. There are no fashionable trends, hard sequences, 'in the face' effects and 'orbit strings' but old fashioned electronic music with the typical von Haulshoven style.

Meanwhile it was slowly time to try to play live. And this happened at E-Live 2008 in the Glazen Zaal together with Bert Hülshoff (aka Frozenlight) as Dutch Space Mission
